GOSH no! I truly hate this mascara! I have come across lots of mascaras, Loreal Voluminous, Maybelline Turbo boost, CG Professional, Maybelline Lash Stylist, Rimmel Extra Super Lash to name a few and this is the worst one. It honestly makes my lashes shorter. I have to apply it like 5 or 6 times to get any length. It doesn't really clump, but the brush makes it hard to get to all my lashes.
It's ghetto. :p
Pros:doesn't clump, it's ok if you're looking for a natural look Cons:ugh, don't get me started
I have been using this mascara for about a year and a half after years of high end mascara's that did not perform I am elated to find a product that is so inexspensive but such quality. I am blonde and have sparse eyelashes with 2 coats of this they become long and lush. Never clumpy and no flaking. Someone will have to make a very special mascara for me to ever change, I love this stuff and it does not hurt that I get many compliments on my lashes either.
Pros:Beautiful lush lashes in 2 coats. Very inexspensive. Cons:Very hard to find when it 1st came out.
This is the best mascara that I have bought so far. I have it in the waterproof. Let me tell you... it definitely doesn't smear or smudge. I have cried with this mascara on and I couldn't believe I did not have raccoon eyes. It gave my eyes a nice length and it separated them.
Pros:Does not smudge, no clumping, and lasts all day. Cons:none
I had high hopes for this mascara. It had been a REALLY long time since I had bought a Cover Girl mascara - now I remember why. I admit it, the brush intrigued me and I went for it. Unfortunately, the brush is the ONLY redeeming thing about this product. The mascara itself flaked off consistently through the day, leaving flakes all over my cheeks and glasses and my eyes incredibly irritated. I threw it in the trash, knowing I couldn't get to the store to replace it with my standby Sonia Kashuk mascara for a few days. Three days without mascara rather than using this garbage for one more day!!
I've always been disappointed by drugstore brand mascaras, but this has become the one I reach for the most! I love the brush, and my lashes aren't clumpy at all. It does its job and for the price (as compared to $20+ higher brand mascaras) it can't be beat! Thanks again ladies at MUT, you've found yet another great product for me!
Pros:awesome price, the brush helps to separate lashes and prevent clumps Cons:I get smudges by the end of the day
I very rarely buy lower end cosmetics but I wanted to try the brush and I wasn't dissapointed! Excellent coverage, no clumps, lengthening and thickening. I usually use Clinique long pretty lashes, Diorshow and YSL Faux Cils and various Mac mascaras and this little pink tube delivers the same results at a fraction of the price. I live in the UK so I buy 5 or 6 while I'm in the States
Pros:Amazing brush, lengthening, thickening. Cons:Not available in the UK!
I really liked this mascara, but only in the black color. I didn't have any problems with it clumping like I do with most mascaras. It layered very well and I've bought it a few times. I've also bought the black/brown, but the color just wasn't enough for me. I had to buy that color because someone had bought the last black right before me!
I really like this mascara. It has an excellent wand, it separates, and covers lashes beautifully. However, I'm having problems with it smudging lightly - and no mascara, no matter how great, looks good when it's smudged. So I took off 2 points and will wait anxiously for the waterproof version.
My HG mascara. It's everything you would want from a mascara. It gives me long, thick curled lashes. Even if I don't curl my lashes beforehand, my lashes still touch my eyebrows when I look up!!!! The other night my friend couldn't believe that it was my real eyelashes!!!!
this is by far my favorite mascara. i love the rubber wand, which i think helps a lot in it not getting clumpy and applies the mascara smoothly and evenly. it doesn't flake and although it's not waterproof, i've cried with it on and it didn't budge. this doesn't give the most volume/length, though, and that's why i gave an overall rating of 4, but it's okay to see as sort of a primer for volumizing/lengthening mascaras, so the extra step doesn't bother me. i'll continue to buy this!
I tried this product after the hype about it on MUT. This mascara is, IMO, fantastic for seperating the lashes with its rubber brush that MF LP also has. It gives you clump-free lashes and lengthens your lashes nicely. This may be beside the point, but I ADORE the purple tube! It just gives the mascara a special punch that I, for some reason, can't get enough of. There are, however, drawbacks to this mascara. It seems to dry out faster than most mascaras, it won't give a dramatic look to your lashes even after putting on multiple coats, and it doesn't voluminize well. Overall, this purple tube is a mascara that would be a great essential addition to your m/u stash... after all, you can still layer on more dramatic mascaras with this lenghtening and seperating dream.
Pros:lengthens and seperates lashes nicely, drugstore price, cute purple tube, a great addition to your m/u stash Cons:CG's cosmetic smell (not all that noticeable when on), doesn't volumize, dries out fast
so far so good, i usually wear waterproof so that i can keep the curl in my lashes, i'll see if this makes them straight by the end of the day. they feel very soft, but not squishy, no clumps either. i got "bye one get the other 50% off" at walgreens, so i hope i like enough to use both
Okay, really didn't use it much until i got it in waterproof. And I love it! I am using my non waterproof wand in lash primers too with good results. Great buy especially for the price.
Pros:lengthens, soft lashes Cons:we will see, the waterproof one is better
I agree...i enjoyed this product and didn't have any flaking or clumping issues. I have quite a few mascaras, and of all of them this is probably the one with the least clumping tendencies. It went on smooth and didn't leave those squirly ends on your lashes. Also the purple tube is super cute (I'm a sucker for packaging). Use this if you want a natural look with some added length....if you're going for volume it will take several coats of this.
Pros:non-clumping, somewhat lengthening, cute purple tube Cons:takes more product if you want volume
I have to say that I really liked this mascara..others have said that it clumped and flaked..but I have not had any. It works well for the length and over all look that I like. It has never left me with racoon eyes..and is very easy to remove which I like d/t wearing contacts.
Pros:easy to apply and remove Cons:seems not to last as long as others I have tried.
This is pretty much a copy of Max Factor's Lash Perfection. I think I like the Max Factor better because it plumps the lashes more. This is probably better if you already have somewhat full lashes and just want to define and lengthen them.
I actually bought this in brownish-black but I will go ahead and review here .... Lash Exact has a brush with rubber bristles which is supposed to reduce clumping.
This mascara did do a very good job of separating my lashes, and it really was clump-free. It also did a good job lengthening my lashes.
However, there were also some drawbacks. This mascara did not keep my lashes very curled -- even if I used an eyelash curler, my lashes straightened out a little when I applied the mascara. (In contrast, Maybelline's Sky High Curves mascara keeps the curl exactly as it looked when I removed the eyelash curler, and keeps the curl all day.) This mascara tended to flake off a little during the day, which I assume is because it is not waterproof (I never have a problem with waterproof mascaras flaking.) Finally, it started to get a little dry and clumpy long before the 3-month expiration date.
Overall, the brush seems like a very good idea, but I think they need to reformulate the actual mascara!
Here is a picture of the brush from Cover Girl's website:
Pros:Lengthens and separates well. Cons:Does not keep my lashes curled, flakes, dries out in a month.
