This is a berry/pink/plum blush. It really has a LOT of color to it. I only have to touch my brush to the blush once to get plenty for an application. The compact slides open and is very compact. You know how some blushes you really have to work your brush into it to get enough so it will show up on your face? Not the case with this at all. Now i can't speak for all the other shades, because this one is probably a bit darker than most. but it gives you that perfect berry pink pop of color on your cheeks.

 

The only reason I docked it down from a 5 was because that's really the only place on your face that it's appropriate to wear it. It's not one of those all purpose blushes that can just go anywhere on your face. just because of the color, you're pretty much confined to the apples of your cheeks with this one. but I kind of needed something that served that function, so it works for me! I'll probably try out a new shade at some point-- I'll let you know how it works! Great value for a buck!

I was amazed at how well ELF blushes work- they actually have great pigmentation and blend onto cheeks nicely. The shades range from neutrals, pinks and browns, but are not too bright. You can buy them to fit in the custom palettes, or on their own. I bought Glow (on its own) and Shy(palette) and am awaiting Coy (palatte).
