Makeup Foundations - Liquid Smashbox

Review on: Smashbox - High Definition Healthy Fx
Since they no longer make Studio Seamless, I bought this.  It is a lighter coverage, but covers nicely and leaves a smooth, soft finish with just a tiny bit of radiance.  Color has always been a challenge for me, but the Fair F1 works well on my almost colorless skin.  The finish is pretty flawless as far as pores go, liquid formula spreads easily and is truly buildable if you want to go heavier.  I've had it on now for 9 hours and my skin still looks nice, and unlike the Studio Seamless, I do not look or feel like I am wearing foundation, but the coverage is perfect for me.  My skin is normal and no blemishes, a few extremely fine lines; it looks like my skin, only better.  I'm not even wearing blush (which I hate) since my natural pink cheeks are not obliterated by the foundation.  Dare I say, HG???  Too soon for that!

Pros: covers nicely, smooth, slight radiant finish, lasts for hours, looks natural
Cons: Maybe price, but if you like it, price doesn't matter
Review on: Smashbox - Seamless foundation
I bought this foundation a couple days ago and when I saw the reviews, I almost immediately regretted the purchase. Fortunately, I decided to give it a try and see how it was for myself.

I actually liked it. I think the key to making this foundation work is wearing the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer underneath as well as using a good foundation brush. I find that with the primer the liquid spread and blended well. The brush also helped reduce that "I'm wearing makeup" feeling because you use much less and spread it more thinly.

All in all, I was impressed. The shading is good as well, not too orangy or pink for my tanned complexion.

Pros: Good color. The bottle (pump).
Cons: Small bottle for the price.
Review on: Smashbox - Seamless foundation
I bought this at Ulta and got the Ivory.  QVC colors are not the same.  I also bought the primer in green to lessen my redness and bought the foundation brush also. Altogether I spent around $100 and this is a good, moisturing foundation.  Definitely goes on better with the brush but it is tedious.  Probably not my HG, but it is a nice, creamy, smooth finish, medium coverage, glides over big pores but that could be the primer.  I do feel like I am wearing foundation, but personally I like that feeling.

Pros: medium coverage, creamy feel
Cons: lid falls off bottle, PRICE!
Review on: Smashbox - Seamless foundation
I tried this is in my efforts to find a great coverage foundation and had heard great things about smashbox. I ordered the lightest availble on QVC which turned out to be too dark for me and looked muddy on. The texture was very thick and didn't blend well at all and left a very heavy mask feeling on my face. Just doesn't look natural at all

Pros: nice packaging in pump form
Cons: too thick and heavy, hard to blend
Review on: Smashbox - Seamless foundation
This is a very heavy foundation...and you have to blend it VERY well or you will look like you have too much on. I also noticed the colors run dark. I noticed the same thing as the lady above, but I am a tru medium. It was a bit muddy :( The brush is nice though. Worth the money.

Pros: Heavy Coverage
Cons: Doesn't look natural

I just received the foundation and I have to say I am bit disappointed. It gives flawless coverage when is blended well. Looks natural but .. it does not feel all that natural. For some reason, I can feel it. Plus the biggest disappointment is that: (I am between light and medium, leaning more towards light shade,) I have ordered the light oak 2.5 and  it is too dark for spotting. (pouting foundation in certain spots).. it looks OK when I put all over and have to blend well . and not sure if I buy it again. I have to see (use it few times) before I make my final decision.

Pros: blend-able and gives flawless coverage
Cons: feels like you wearing makeup
Review on: Smashbox - Seamless foundation
I like this foundation because it provides good coverage, blends well, it's moisturizing and there is a good color selection. But, I don't like that it feels like I'm wearing foundation and takes awhile to absorb.

Pros:
Cons: It's expensive
