I picked this foundation up on recommendation from a friend, after having an impossible time finding a match at MAC. It's smooth, with a nice matte finish and covers just enough without looking cakey. My friend and I both found the perfect shade and I also like Clinique's rep as being more "skin friendly".
I went to the counter to try this product and asked the MA to describe the product to me. She did very little to look for a color match and when I left the store to check the color in the sunlight it was obviously the wrong color. Also after wearing the foundation for an hour I got very shiny and my already oily skin felt even more so. I would not use this makeup again, back to the search for the perfect foundation.
Pros:Felt light going on, good coverage when first applied Cons:became oily, hard to match to skin tone
This was pretty good at first. The foundation blended into my skin right away. Although, I noticed that it was kind of chalky-looking when you first put it on, then after an hour, it kind of sinks into your skin and evens out your skin tone. I've been using this for a couple of months now and the product has a different consistency. I'll probably try something else though.
Pros:smooth, matte, evens out skin tone Cons:product doesn't last long, chalky-looking at first
Review on: Clinique - Clinique Almost Makeup SPF 15
This is probably my favorite liquid foundation. It's light and goes on very nicely, but it also provides some coverage. If you have significant issues that need to be hidden, it's probably not the foundation for you. Clinique products are not animal tested, but they may contain animal ingredients and certainly have non-natural ingredients.
This is the worst foundation I've ever tried. It did not blend into my skin at all. I don't have dry skin, nor oily, just normal. It just felt like it was sitting on top of my skin and I hated it. Their color selections are awful as well. No colors out there for us very fair skinned girls. How can their lightest shade still be too dark? Plus, it doesn't have a pump so it's a pain to apply. I would never buy this again.
Pros: Cons:No pump, horrible color selection, heavy, non-blendable
I'm mystified by the bad reviews of Superfit. Maybe because I'm older (48) and never have had a probem with skin break outs it has worked well for me. I use 05 neutral and it is (when mixed with a tad of my moisturizer) the most natural (meaning invisible) foundation I've ever used. It leaves a beautiful finish, slight glow, and tho i've never been much on foundations ... would highly recommend Superfit !
Medium-Full Coverage. Buildable. I think this clogged my pores and caused some acne.
Was not enough oil-control. The shade wasn't quite right. The product didn't feel to bad on, but I'm not sure if it's coincidence or this foundation that caused a big outbreak of acne on my skin????
That being said, I've moved on to better quality, shades and performance with Prescriptives Flawless Skin and Virtual Matte and Mac SFF.....Cliniques foundations just didn't perform like them.
Pros:medium-full coverage, sanitary bottle Cons:not enough oil-control, not enough shade selection, think it caused me to break out
Review on: Clinique - Stay-True Makeup Oil-Free Formula
Medium-Full Coverage. Oil-control foundation. Did not cause acne, nor irritate my sensitive skin.
This foundation seemed to look a bit cakey for my taste. The color/shade was never quite right for my skin tone. The oil-control was so-so. As with most oil-control foundations, this is another you must blend fast before it sets.
I used to like this back in my 'Clinique' days, but I've moved onto better quality (Prescriptives and Mac SFF, both much better, in my opinion).
Pros:better than drugstore oil-control foundations Cons:shade selection not right, felt cakey, have to blend fast
I really wanted to like Clinique..but this was not my HG ..and even tho it was supposed to be dewy..it caked in places and dried my face out. I have to say they have some good colors..just the product did not work out for me.
I was looking for a very natural, light "foundation". I didn't like the heavy foundations. I tried this tinted moisturizer. I am very light but the SA gave me neutral. It was too dark. I exchanged it for Fair. Again, too dark. That is the lightest shade.
They only make 4 shades for this. If you are very light, don't bother to try this. I now use Traceless by Prescriptives in Level 1. It is a perfect match.

I really wanted to like this product. The texture was nice and it was a perfect color match. It went on smoothly. However, it made my skin itch like crazy. I had to return it.
This may be great for someone with non-sensitive skin. My skin didn't like it.
Pros:nice texture, natural looking Cons:made my skin itch

I am loving this super-sheer foundation. The bronze has a just a hint of shimmer and goes on silky smooth. I have sensitive skin and so far, no problems. Love it!
Not good nor bad.I have acne prone skin and this only made it get worse. The only thing I liked was that it looked very natural and matte.Nevertheless, once again, it made my acne worse and it didn’t last all day like it was suppose too. Also, the shade made me look too pink.
Pros:Looks natural and price. Cons:Might make you brake out and it is not very resistant
It's not bad or good either!! When I use it after a while it gets
a little oily and the color it's a little orange!! I won't buy it again
there are other brands that have much better foundations for oily skins!
Review on: Clinique - Clinique Almost Makeup SPF 15
I recently decided I needed to add a sheer foundation to my makeup kit. Something to throw on when my skin was looking fairly good and not in need of much camouflaging. Or if I just wanted to look better than bare-faced for a casual weekend activity. It was bonus time at Clinique, so I decided to see what they had to offer.
I chose the Almost makeup SPF 15 in Deep 2, in a 1.5 oz tube. It was a very nice match for my dark olive skin tone. This product is oil-free which is a must for me. The SPF part contains titanium dioxide which can sometimes leave an ashy or chalky look on darker skin tones, but I didn't experience this, which was a plus. It went on very smooth and melted into my skin. Unfortunately, it melted in a little too well. This product gave me almost zero coverage. I was looking for sheer, not nonexsistent. I don't have much to hide, just dark undereye circles and dark spots of pigmentation here and there. Maybe the occasional blemish (in which case I would use my regular foundation anyway). Also, my face looked really shiny and slippery after only a couple hours, and my skin isn't that oily. I was disappointed with this foundation, especially considering how much I paid for it. For me, coverage is a huge part of the equation; if it doesn't measure up in that area, it doesn't matter how great it is in other areas. Review Challenge Jan. 2005
Pros:SPF protection, nice feel on the skin, oil-free, nice shade choices. Cons:Inadequate coverage, adds to oily/shiny appearance, overpriced.
I bought the palest shade of this foundation, Shell, and it was was still too dark and too orange on my skin! (I can't believe the salesperson almost sold me a darker shade!) This was the first foundation I've tried where I could not find a pale enough shade. In addition, I found it to make my skin oilier than some other foundations I've tried -- but of course, this foundation is only oil-free and not non-comedogenic. On the plus side, it did offer fairly good coverage without being too thick.
(Color swatch is "Shell" -- something must be wrong with these images because the color swatch looks much darker than the bottle ;))
Pros:Good coverage Cons:Could not find the right shade; oily
Review on: Clinique - Clinique Superfit Makeup
I've had two different bottles of this, and I'm finally ready to give up on it. The first time around, Superfit did not work for me because my skin was oily. The foundation would oxidize on me, and I'd be an oil slick within an hour. I decided to give it another go because it makes my best friend's skin look so good, but it's still not for me. As far as the oil control and wear, it was much better for me this time around because my skin is combo. Semi-dewy finish, medium coverage, and fairly long-wearing. I just can't find a good color match! Creamwhip was the perfect shade level, but it was just way too peachy for me. Ah well. I've got better things anyways.
Pros:hygenic packaging, holds up well Cons:bad colors
Review on: Clinique - Clinique Dewy Smooth Anti-Aging Make-up SPF 15
I need a foundation that provides full, but natural coverage, (especially to camoflage hereditary dark circles), and a fresh, dewy finish. As a 42 year old woman who has been a professional beauty advisor for 25 years, I must say that Clinique has done it with this product. It feels good, looks natural, if you choose the right color for your skin tone, and moisturizes just enough to keep you looking fresh-picked, with no build-up settling into lines or wrinkles. This product can even cover blemishes successfully, and the fact that it has SPF 15 makes this a very wise choice for a foundation.

I use different foundations at different times depending on how my my skin is. When my skin is clear i use this liquid foundation. It is a smooth and silky texture which gives sheer to medium coverage and looks really natural. This is what i wear when going to the gym as it's nice and light. The shade i have is called 'healthy'. I love the healthy glow it creates. It keeps the skin moist and lasts really well. They have different tones in their range with some neutral shades. I really like this foundation a lot, and it looks great in bright daylight which is good for day time use.
