It was by accident that I discovered Merle Norman had mineral makeup foundation and what a discovery! It contains no bismuth oxychloride! I am fair with golden undertones and this color worked much better for me than the lighter shade (more for pink undertones). I'm not sure how many shades there are. The coverage is�light-medium and has a luminous finish. There is no finishing powder so if� you have oily skin and want a matte finish you'd most likely want a finishing powder or blotter papers on hand. For the price you get a lot.�.5oz. I've been using mine for about 6 months and�I'm not even half way through the�container.

Pros: You get a lot for your money
Cons: Can leave you shiney
