Makeup Foundations - Powder Cover Girl

Review on: Cover Girl - Simply Powder Foundation
This is the only thing I continue to use again and again. The only thing that has never made me break out. And everyone always comments on how natural it looks. Which is what i'm aiming for.

Pros: looks natural, doesn't make me break out
Cons: the price, I wish it were cheaper as I have to get a new one every week.
Review on: Cover Girl - Simply Powder Foundation
I bought this product hoping that it would help to control my oily skin...it didn't. It went on smooth at first but left me looking pale...about 30 minutes after it caked on my skin...even after i moisturized and broke me out. This was the only powder foundation i've used and it has turned me off from using any in the future.

Pros: none that i can think of
Cons: broke me out, did not control oil.
Review on: Cover Girl - Trublend Powder Foundation
This is a nice light coverage. It does actually blend with your own skintones and it has the added bonus of an SPF 15. It comes in a small compact with a sponge. The only drawback that I had was the smell. There is a 'makeupy' type smell to this. It is not overpowering but it is there.

Pros: Nice light coverage, blends with skins own tones, SPF 15
Cons: Noticeable 'makeupy' smell
Review on: Cover Girl - Pocket Powder
I actually love this product because it really is a powder and covers like a foundation.  It doesn't help with my oil at all, but it tones down my red skin significantly and i layer it on all day (every hour because my face is so oily) and it holds up for quite a while.  Aslong as I use blotting sheets with this powder, it doesn't turn a darker gooey slimey mess.  This is the only cheap powder that i found that actually somewhat covers alot of my acne scars.  But, what other reviewers said is right...if you have a pimple, the more u cake the makeup on in the one area, the more you will see the pimple.  But other then that I love this powder and you can't find anything that covers like this in a TOTALLY POWDER FORM for only like $6.

Review on: Cover Girl - Pocket Powder
This is a decent powder for the price I guess. I have a really hard time picking a color without trying it on so maybe that's why I hate drugstore foundations. Either way, this color matched fairly well, I don't think any others would have worked better. But it was too chalky. I hate looking like I'm wearing anyhting and with this, I could see the powder.

Pros: inexpensive
Cons: chalky
Review on: Cover Girl - Pocket Powder
When I first tried this product I liked it. It mattifies the skin and last a very long time. However, my skin broke out after using it. Even worse, this product seemed to highlight the areas that broke out! This product may work well for some people that just need a mattifying powder to control oil or to minimize the appearance of pores (it does these two things pretty well). If you are very pale (as I am), stay away. You will not find a shade that works. If you have dry skin, stay away. In fact, anyone that tries this should moisturize well before using as this will highlight any slightly dry areas you may have.

Pros: controls oil, minimizes pores
Cons: shades much darker than they appear, may cause breakouts
