Review on: MAC - Microfine Refinisher
This is the best store bought microdermabrasion product you can buy IMO. The scrubbing granules are really fine and therefore more effective than the bigger, soft ones you usually find in drugstore facial scrubs.
You can scrub gently if you have sensitive skin, or scrub harder (like I do) if your skin can tolerate it.

After prolonged this can refine your skintone and help with hyperpigmentation. IMO that´s not gonna happen with a very gentle application though.

Pros: very fine granules
Cons:
Review on: MAC - Microfine Refinisher
I adore this stuff. It does a great job of refining my skin tone without irritating my skin. I like to compare it to microdermabrasion, but better. The usual microderm kits irritate my skin and trigger a crop of cystic acnes that takes weeks to recover from. This does not add any extra chemicals. It simply buffs and polished skin.

The base formula in this can feel a little greasy. I think it acts a buffer to the skin. My only recomendation is to massage, not scrub, your skin with this. The particles are very fine, so you won't realize that you're over-doing it until its too late.

Me: NC43, GGG, Green Eyes, Jet Black Straight Hair, Combination/Sensitive Skin

Review on: MAC - Microfine Refinisher
I'm on the fence about this one as to whether I'd buy again or not. The consistency is super fine, almost like a microdermabrasion cream and rinses off pretty well. While it does soften and refine my skin's dry spots, I do think this may be irritating to my skin. My face was pretty pink after using and there was a tingle that usually signals irritation. My skin isn't super sensitive, but maybe it doesn't like the cloying perfume. I have so many other scrubs like St. Ives Apricot Scrub which I love and costs a fifth of the MAC. Probably wouldn't buy this again. Not bad though, if your skin can handle it.

Pros: Leaves skin smooth and soft.
Cons: May cause irritation to very sensitive skins.
