Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
This cleanser is different. There isn't a lather and your skin doesn't feel clean. Although it is. I can say that I like it because it's mild and it won't irritate my skin like every other cleanser out there. Its pH is one of the lowest and that's the reason why. Plus, you can use it all over your body. It'll leave your skin very, very soft!

Pros: Cheap and Gentle
Cons:

Nice and very moisturizing good for sensitive skin,

Pros: cheap, gentle moisturizes
Cons: none
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
It takes off my makeup really well......For eye makeup, you should put a little on a tissue and very gently swipe it off. Then clean the rest of your face with it.

I have been using it since my teens and I LOVE it! You don't get that dry feeling like most other cleansers after washing.

Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
Very mild cleanser that doesn't have an scent.  Can also be used without water if you can't rinse it off.   It isn't a cleanser that is going to strip the makeup off your face unless you help it along.  I use a wet washcloth and gently rub the cleanser into my face.  That works well to remove the makeup.  Doesn't leave my face feeling tight or reddened.  After I use this, I use toner to make sure I've gotten everything off.  The bottle needs a pump or something because I am always spilling it all over the place because when I try to put some into my hand it gets all over the flip top.

Pros: Gentle, non-drying. Can be used without water if needed.
Cons: No pump. Needs a better delivery system.
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
I was dissapointed, IDK if it works, but it feels like I'm just washing my face with water.  It feels like it's doing nothing for my skin.  I wish I had bought a different one now.
EDIT:  It takes off eye makeup EASILY!  I love how well it works on my mascara.  It doesn't even burn when I remove my eye makeup anymore.

Pros: not expensive
Cons: too watery
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
I used to use MAC lotion cleanser but have been wanting to cut down my beauty budget, plus they don't have it anymore. I tried Desert Essence cleansers and they dried out my skin, so then I decided to try cetaphil. I like it a lot, my skin isn't all red after I wash. I think it will be my new cleanser for good.

Pros: Doesn't dry out, and cheap.
Cons: Nothing so far
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
I always buy a big bottle of this when I'm in the states. Ialso read about it in Paula Begoun's book and while I don't agree with everything she says she sure was spot on with this! This is one of my hg cleansers ( the other two are Liz Earles Cleanse and Polish and Philosophys purity) I find this cleanser removes ALL my make up,even when I wear a lot and I use a muslin cloth to remove stubborn eye make up although I don't think it would remove waterproof or longlasting products. It doesn't sting your eyes and leaves my skin wonderfully soft and clean. I'm surprised people say it's expensive as I find it very economical and you get a lot for your money. I also like to mix it with a bit of bicarb which makes it into a great exfoliator too. All in all I cannot fault this product, I just wish they sold it in the UK!

Pros: Gentle yet thorough, very good VFM
Cons: Not available in th UK!
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
i'm a fan of Cetaphil's spf 15 lotion and also i use their moisturizing cream(the one in the big green tub) everyday. But this product is soo not for me. i have slightly dry skin that sometimes can be oily and this cleanser did not clean my skin. it also left a icky residue which led to clogged pores. i would not buy this again but i do remain a faithful fan of their sunscreen and moisturizing cream.

Pros: i actually liked the slick thin gel like texture
Cons: clogged my darn pores
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
This stuff is amazing!  I discouvered it through Paula Begoun book and gave it a try.  It does remove some makeup, not heavy makeup, and I liked mixing it with baking soda to scrub my skin and it was not harsh at all!  Then I read that you could use the cleanser as a moisterizer if you have oily/cystic acne skin and I did that and it worked!  Sometimes I do buy other expensive namebrand cleansers (just for a change) but I always, always go back to Cetaphil.

Pros: You can wash with or without water. For oily skin, you can use it as a moisterizer. For dry or severly dry skin, you can cleanse without causing any additional irritation. Does not irritate your eyes.
Cons: Does not remove heavy duty eye makeup.
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
I have oily acne-prone skin that's also sensitive. I've tried every cleanser under the sun but at my derm's recommendation I tried this and I haven't looked back since. It cleanses without stripping your skin. I love it.

Pros: gentle and effective
Cons: none
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
What's not to love about Cetaphil's gentle skin cleanser, it's cheap, gentle, and effective. I have been using it on and off for 5 years, and I love it. Occaisionally, I get bored and switch to other more expensive cleansers, but then I realise that Cetaphil is so much better so I go back to using it again.

Pros: Fragrance-free Very gentle formula Rinses clean
Cons: none
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
Very good cleanser, and a good facial lotion. Great for all skin types. Absolutely Wonderful.

Pros: clean fresh scent, clean lotion/cleanser, for all skin types, doesn't break me out, don't need water.
Cons: none I can think of.
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
Cetaphil just isn't a brand that works for me. I would hear such wonderful things about this cleanser, but it does squat for me. Its more like a lotion since it didn't foam and most definitely did not wash off cleanly.

My skin actually felt a little greasier (and icky) after using this. I think I still have a bottle of this rolling around in my hallway closet. I just have no desire to give this brand another shot after to big misses.

Me: NC43, GGG, Green Eyes, Jet Black Straight Hair, Combination/Sensitive Skin

Pros:
Cons: It did not clense my skin
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
I will use this as a nice moisturizing cleanser.  Does not lather, but gets my skin feeling clean and moisturized.  I will also apply some to my face and gently wipe or pat off with a dry towel, leaving a thin film/layer on my skin.  This acts as a moisturizer (I've done this a few times when I want to just give my skin a break and not where anything - just this light moisturizer).  It is not the greatest at eye makeup removal, but will do the job if you apply more.  Gentle, mild, soothing, does not irritate.  I like this very gentle cleanser as well, but sometimes I just want my cleanser to do more or something (not sure why).  I wish it came in a pump (does it?, because the one I have is not a pump container).

Pros: mild, gentle, moisturizing, can be used as a moisturizer as well
Cons:
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
I was so disappointed in this. I had heard so many great things. My face was clean afterwards..but, it didn't feel clean. It also didn't really help my dry skin..and it seemed like my acne was worse. I gave it a shot and it is just not for me.

Pros: not really anything
Cons: just about everything.
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
Did not leave my skin feeling clean.  Too mild.

Pros: Readily available
Cons: Too mild
Review on: Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
I only used this when I got my skin peels and could only use the very mildest products that would add moisture to my parched, peeling face. However, since I found out that they put the same hydraulic brake fluid in this that yes, folks, goes in your car brakes; it totally turned me off. I didn't notice any adverse effects, in all fairness, but there are just too many scary ingredients in this and I will be happy to provide a list of them and what they do if anyone out there wants it (don't have time right now). I may be in the minority here, but I don't like the idea of this stuff.

Pros: Adds moisture to VERY dry skin.
Cons: Contains harmful ingredients ie brake fluid and antifreeze which belong in cars, not on people's skin.
