Review on: LaurEss - eye shadow
I love these eye shadows. I was bit nervous about using mineral eyeshadows since I could just see me getting powder everywhere but once I started playing with them, the colors are just beautiful! I like neutral colors so I don't know how the brighter ones are, but I've been very happy with the samples I've gotten - you get quite a bit in sample pots! My favorite color so far is Sophisticate. It's a slightly shimmery rich brown. I like that LaurEss has colors from matte to shimmery so you can decide what level of shimmer you want. I like the Pearl Lights and Gem Lights. They have a creamy texture, lasts all day, and are not flat colors. The Gem Lights are the perfect amount of shimmer you can still wear during the day or glam it up for evening.

Pros: lovely colors, great amount for the price
Cons:
Review on: LaurEss - Cashmere Kabuki
I have gone to kabuki heaven, girls. I've wanted to try this brush since I love everything I've ever gotten from LaurEss and this company stops at nothing for quality. They recently put these babies on sale so I decided to bite the bullet and get one. It's much larger than your typical kabuki. The handle is about 2.5" long for better control. The brush is divine. So plush, dense and soft and applies minerals like a dream with no shedding (I can't say that about about a lot of other kabukis). Now I see why the higher price. It's extremely well made and sturdy. It comes packaged in a plastic wrap so it's kept in perfect undisturbed, clean shape during shipping.

Pros: longer handle, dense bristles, amazingly soft
Cons:
Review on: LaurEss - Minimalist
I really don't think you can go wrong with Lauress. This foundation is simple, simple, simple. It has a mostly matte finish, the coverage is easily buildable. I have combination skin and can wear this without a finishing powder (cutting out a step in the morning) and it stays all day, never cakey or dry. If worn with a finishing powder it's a more matte look with excellant staying powder.

Pros: soft texture, excellant service and packaging, soothing for skin
Cons: It's a little more than other brands, but so worth it.

I love this foundation! Great all-day lasting coverage. No oilyness or wearing off. The foundation colors are very skin-tone like i.e., no offensive orangey tones. I like that the owner uses premium finely milled minerals. Coverage is buildable and a tiny amount goes a long way. Doesn't cause itchness, bumps, pimples, etc. I have been using this formula for over 4 months and it's my HG out of any other brands that I've tried!

The other thing I love about Lauress is their customer service. Very prompt and shipping is fast. I usually get my order within a week (1st class shipping) and Lauren never fails to throw in a bunch of samples of various products for free.

Pros: Great customer service. Can contact the owner for a shade suggestion. Lots of shades to choose from. Fast shipping (even outside the USA). Takes Paypal (if you choose). Free samples are thrown in.
Cons: You could consider the price a con. However, this foundation minerals is so PREMIUM that a tiny bit goes a long way. Also, no need to reapply (a full face) throughout the day.

I absolutely LOVE them! They are the BEST mineral e/s I've ever tried.

Normally mineral e/s are so powdery; you dip your e/s brush and sweep the minerals into the brush, tap and a ton falls back off. You have to constantly dip and apply, etc.

The way I can describe LaurEss e/s is this: they almost appear to be like if the powder was dampened by water. When I sweep my brush into the minerals, they really "stick" and hold onto the brush. When I sweep the color on my eyelids, no excess minerals fall off. The color is so rich when it goes on. You don't have to build up any layers to get great coverage. They blend very well too. No fading or wearing-off either. They stay just as vibrant throughout the day as when first applied. Beneath any mineral e/s I use Revlon Colorstay e/s in a nude tone.

After buying over 20 e/s samples, I purchased a f/s e/s trio. With the 15% off sale it equaled out to $8 a piece. I figure that if I have to reapply throughout the day those cheaper $4 e/s, this isn't such a bad deal after all.

If the price is too much for you, Colorful Sprinkles offers LaurEss products in 1/2 sizes.
