Tried this in the Phenomen'Black color. The packaging is gorgeous, but the real show stopper is the applicator. It looks like a tiny torture device, but it is surprisingly super easy to use. I didn't get any mascara poop on my lids so that is how simple it is to use. The product just kind of glides on, not clumpy at all. Like really...not at all. lol It most def holds the curl in place without weighing your lashes down. It really does reach every last lash like it says it will. I know some mascaras are scented, but this one seems to not be. If it is, I can't smell a thing. I wear hard contact lenses so I have super sensitive eyes and this mascara is def. safe for contact lens wearers.

It does take practice to really apply this mascara to the best of its potential. If you put it on in the traditional way, you will be very disappointed. You gotta use the very tippy tip of the wand to gently tease the lashes, working from the bottom side of your upper lashes, from inner corner to out corner.
The applicator is well-designed, it doesn't unravel the way many cheap ones do. I like the boxy design, it doesn't roll when I set it down.
Pros:If you got the technique down, it works as intended. Cons:It does take practice to really get it to work as intended. It is expensive, and if you end up not liking it, you will feel a little ripped off.
Like many women, I had been looking for my H.G. mascara for a loooong time. Well, ladies...I found it! I went to Sephora, and asked for recommendation for a good lengthening mascara...The girl mentioned Givenchy had a new mascara out. I had never paid $23 for a mascara before, but hey..if it's that good....
It's better than good. It's fantastic! My lashes are fairly thick, but they need some help in the lengthening department. This stuff lengthens like a DREAM. That's is only job. And it does it well. This stuff coats lashes without clumping, or lumping...I like the wand, and the little rectangle tube is classy looking. My lashes have NEVER looked so long. This is the best stuff I've ever used...

I love the Givenchy blushes -- I have two. This one is from the Spring 2007 collection. It's four shades of pink, orange and yellow that blend together into the most gorgeous peachy-pink glow. Very easy to apply and wear, lasts all day.
This product isn't cheap, but it's so worth it. Needless to say, the packaging is lovely too, a really little stylish compact with a mirror and a separate compartment for the brush.

Usually I take off from my rating for items that are unnecessarily expensive. This quartet is $49.50, and that is extremely expensive in my opinion, but it is worth every penny.
These shadows are unbelievable! In the description on Sephora, it describes two of them as being "matte." I don't find any of these shadows to be truly matte. There is a GORGEOUS iridescent yellow gold (but warmer than most yellow golds) shade and it makes a beautiful highlighter & a beautiful eye-opening all over wash also. I think its my favorite in this quartet. There is a silky smooth taupe/suede shade, just gorgeous. A dark chocolate shade (nothing extremely unique in terms of color, but so silky & blends so easily in the crease) and a peachy orange shade. I thought the peachy orange shade would be too warm for my liking, but I think its the least pigmented of the four, so its easier for me to wear (being unbelievably annoyingly cool-toned, I have a hard time wearing anything that doesn't have blue in it to cool the color down) None of the shadows have a high amount of shimmer, none contain any glitter (thankfully!)
All of these shadows feel so silky, they are almost creamy in texture. All of them blend beautifully & all are so gorgeous. The shadows go very well together and the packaging is to die for!
To be honest, I really thought I made a mistake when I got this. The colors don't scream out at me when I look at them in the compact, but once I used the shadows for the first time I've been in love ever since. I would definitely repurchase. I adore this quartet & recommend it highly!
Another fantastic quailty product form Givenchy! Here we have a classy black box with the Givenchy logo printed in black and gold on the front. Inside there are 4 different neutral blocks of color which can be used indiviually to highlight the face or blended together to create a beautiful natural glow to your skin.This makeup is also perfect to use as a finishing touch to your makeup adding polish and sophistication with a sweep of the brush. This compact is suitable for pale and older skin as it is ultra fine and won't clog pores or sit in wrinkles. Another great feature of this powder is that even though it is a pressed powder.It should be applied with a brush and has the staying power of a loose powder.Also has some UVA/UVB filter's and a touch of palmate retinol for an even tone. The perfect finsihing touch!
Pros:A product that will last and last due it's ultra fine texture.Perect polish for oily skin. Cons:May be too big to fint in your handbag! May only be suitable for pale/ivory skintones.
I love GIVENCHY! and i especially love this fantastic deep bronzer.It is packaged in a large black square box with the Givenchy Logo printed on the front in a little square with red,blue,green and pink colors within the logo.The packaging looks very stylish and when you lift the lid of the box inside you will find four blocks of color (each a different shade of brown) froma caramel light shades to deep brown and true bronze. When you swirl your bronzer brush over the 4 colours they all blend into one stunningly realistic deep bronze shade, which is fantastic if you already have a deep colour to your skin or if like me this product is used as a bronzer (and blush if desired) with a fake tan like St Tropez. There are 2 light shdes of brown and 2 darker shades.The darker blocks of colors even have little flecks of gold in them.The texture of the power is ultra fine and when applied it looks very 'polished and professional'. Another fantastic feature of this bronzer is that the 4 colours can be used individually to sculpt and highlight your face.The overall performance of the bronzer is excellant,its so easy and smooth to the touch with a just there fragrance and it even has UVA/UVB filter's too! I believe this product has a tiny amount of Palmite De Retinol (perfect for an even tone and for ladies over a certain age) making this product a must have this summer. Another thing i like about Givenchy is all their make up has great staying power and this bronzer lasts all day (or night).
Pros:A big box of bronzer,with different shades which can be used as eyeshadow or to scultp the face.A large strong substantial stylish looking box. Will last and last! Cons:Many be too large to fit in your handbag (unless you have a big bag) as this is bigger than the palm of your hand.
