I love the packaging, you get a mirror and a lil applicator. the metallic berry shade is an EXACT dupe of MAC cranberry. I put them side by side, its almost as vibrant also. The shade is dead on, you will not be disappointed, this is a very flattering shade for aa faces. The brownish shade is a good matte chocolate brown burgundy type shade for creasing.
I love love love how it's never a miss with the colors. They are all extremely pigmented and do not require a base/primer to show up. They are very easy to work with, and blend like a dream. They don't only come in bright colors, but have some neutralish and toned down colors also (21 colors available). Each pan comes with .09oz./2.7g of product and are about the size of a Stila e/s or MAC blush. At $9.00 a pop, I think the price is unbeatable for the quality/quantity you get.
Pros:Extremely pigmented
Bright colors available and not so bright ones too
Very easy to blend
Alot of product
Cheap/Affordable Cons:Some may find it a wee bit chunky
This is the mascara that will save me from shelling out $20 for DiorShow. With just 2 applications the volume from this mascara is amazing. Minimal to no clumping and it's very lengthening too. Love this one.
I love Larenims pigment eye shadows. The 14 karot gold & anastastia are my fav. The anastasia is a vibrant sparkle purple, that reminds me of MAC's stars and rockets. It can be (as all the Larenim products) used wet or dry for two different looks. I love the Karot gold color on wet, I usually pair it with purples or blues for a soft look. I highly recommend you all check out there products. The beach bae was my least fav but I do use it when doing a soft beach-ess matte look. Its good for crease color but wasnt what I thought it would be.It does have its place though. My next purchase will scale of the dragon which is a pearlescent green with silver/blue shimmer in it.
I cant get over E.L.F! im a student on a major budget but still want to look as good as possible! Pros:cheap prices and high quality products Cons:packaging isnt channel but who cares!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mary Kay's new Mineral Foundation! It goes on so easily and IT STAYS ON! (The price I listed below included the Mineral Foundation and the brush.)
Pros:Can use by itself or over other type of foundation, feels soft & silky, price is great, IT STAYS ON! Cons:none
The "N" Collection that recently was released by MAC should be the newest addtion to the makeup box of all of us that love neutrals or those of us makeup artists that are busy with bridal makeup. Simple colors simple application, excellent results.
The collection also includes Mineralized Powders and a variety of Paint Pots complimenting the collection. Mineralized Powders satify the need for face powder and highlighter/bronzers!~
Unlike other neutrals that cater to the Pink side of Neutrals this colelction is a gentle balance of both pink and gold hues. So red heads...this is for you!
Pros:Easy of use, easy to combine paint pots and shadow. Cons:Due in part to MAC being a professional product, some might find that the suggested brushes used with this product are costly.
this is an excellent product also...I do think Talika makes it in black..I think and you can buy this on Victoria's Secret site or in a catalog (the name I can't think of) But I seriously do love this product I have like around 6 tubes of this stuff. Does Alcone (the original fast lash) make this in black? I do need major help with my lashes for thickness and length and this product does the job to perfection for me...
Pros:really helps with making thin lashes long and very thick Cons:Have to be very careful when applying. when taking out of tube fibers fly everywhere and have to be careful with application and not to apply a lot..Directions do come with it on how to apply though
At first I was excited to get a nice, neutral trio for those days when bright pigments aren't really proper. However, I was highly upset with NYX's trios in general.
This color combination looks wonderful in the packaging, and otherwise looks promising, however there were many faults with it.
I texture is VERY chalky and dry. The pigmentation is poor, and it barely shows up on my lids, even with UDPP and even though I have a pale ivory complexion. After applying layers upon layers of the various shades, and obtaining a SMALL hint of color, it quickly wore off within 4 hours without a trade. Horrible, horrible.
Pros:Inexpensive. Cute packing with convenient mirror. Cons:Poor pigmentation. Chalky texture. No staying power, even with UDPP.
I love this product. I wish that it came in black. I have seen it in black by Natural Angel Instant lash extender. Does anyone know where I can purchase this item. I bought it once in HAwaii. The company is CHRISTIAN L Int'l, Inc.
I bought this product after reading a review on it, I used to have problems getting eye shadows to stay on oily eyelids even after powdering them, never again will I struggle, now I have this Potion in my kit, it really is awesome the eyeshadow not only lasts for hours, it doesn't crease and the colour goes on brighter than bright.
This is my new HG cosmetic - it's like superglue for my eyeshadow, making it stay on even on my oily lids (which usually mean that my eye makeup goes into meltdown inside an hour or so)
If you have problems getting your shadow to stay put, this is a necessity for your makeup kit - well worth the investment.
Pros:stays on FOREVER, eyeshadow vibrant and sticks to the oiliest of lids. Cons:Can be hard to take off, sometimes difficult to locate.
The comb looks scary at first, but when you try it on, you'll fall in love.
This is for girls who want loooong lashes, thiiiiick lashes, almost like a false lash effect. It's super to work with, the combs will groom the lashes all the time, so you don't have to worry about them sticking to eachother all the time.
I was VERY suspicious with the comb at first, but after trying it 2-3 times I got the hang of it and it's simply the best mascara I've ever tried.
Only one thing; I've used mascara for years, and have a good technique applying it to myself, so I don't know if it's harder to get used to if you're a newbie on applying mascara. If you feel very uncertain, go for the Lancome L'Extreme instead. It's easier and have the classic brush.
Anyway; for the longest thickest lashes, try Fatale, it will blow you away, and everyone around you. And you don't have to worry about false lashes, this mascara does the job!
Pros:Longest thickest lashes you've had, plus it makes the lashes separate nicely and gives them a nice shape (thickest by the root, thinner outward). It doesn't dry fast, so you'll have it for a long time. Cons:None so far
A very good eyeshadow even compared to the more expensive ones, this stays put for ages once applied, blends easily and doesn't crack. The colours are very good and visible, especially Mushroom (which looks like MAC Shroom) and Charcoal (which looks like Urban Decay Oil Slick, or MAC Black Tied). The tiny little pots contain a surprising amount of shadow, and I love the faff- and fuss- free packaging: pot, shadow, lid, and that's it. I would definitely recommend it, and am planning on buying more from the range (I already have Mushroom, Charcoal, Old Gold, Black and Cherry.)
Pros:Very visible and easily blended, even on oily lids. Cons:None.
This eyeshadow is a matte ivory color, perfect for highlighting underneath the brows or inner corner of the eyes. I often pair it with cooler shades of eyeshadow. This brand is similar to MAC, as in similar shades, but cheaper in price
