First of all I love how this stuff warms on your face. It has a nice light fragrance and I really enjoy rubbing this into my skin, not only for the effects that it has on my skin, but because it's so pleasant- warm, smells good. I will definitely be purchasing this once it runs out because it's the most gentle daily exfoliator I have found, and its improved my skin tone immensely. I also really like that it has glycolic acid in it.
Pros:smells awesome, warming, great exfoliator Cons:kinda pricey
Olay Complete Defense Daily UV Moisturizer SPF 30 for Sensitive Skin contains zinc oxide which is a physical sunblock and will block both UVA and UVB rays. I previously tried the original Olay Complete Defense which is a chemical sunblock but I broke out (mildly). I just spent 9 hours at an outdoor event, baking in the sun, and applied the Olay Complete Defense for Sensitive Skin once every two hours and did not get any visible color on my face (burn or tan) - was very pleased because sunlight tends to seriously darken my chloasma (AKA: pregnancy mask).
Pros:Great physical sunblock protection. Purse size pump. Cons:A little pricey based on the ingredients and amount (2.5 FL OZ).
This is my all time favorite of moisturizers. I have been using this forever. I have the one for combo/oily skin. Keeps my skin looking healthy and keeps it hydrated. It absorbs into the skin very well.
This stuff is great. It lessens puffiness, soothes the eye area, and just makes the lines look less noticeable. The price is great, too. However, the delivery is bad...you have to put your fingers into the jar and scoop it out. Way too easy to contaminate the product. I still like it and will continue to buy it, but Olay should package it with a pump dispenser.
Pros:Lessens lines, puffiness. Makes eyes look brighter. Cons:Packaging.
I was hesitant to buy this because it contains beta hydroxy and I always thought the whole hydroxy thing was a load of crap. Well, apparently it's not because this stuff is fantastic. The very first night I used it I was amazed at how soft my skin was in the morning, and it's been that way ever since. My skin is softer, smoother, and just looks better. I like the soft scent the product has, too. The only thing I do not like is that you have to dip your fingers into the jar to get the product out and I don't think that's the best design. If they don't want to put it into a pump (or can't for some reason), at least include some sort of spoon to get the stuff out without having to contaminate it each time you use it.
when i heard claims that this products worked within 3 days i was a bit sceptical, but it's true! after 3 days i noticed that my pores were tightening and my skin had a luminoisity that i haven't seen with other products. for women over 40 that want something that hydrates without being oily and also brightens this is diffently a product to try. i got a free sample for my test, but i will certainly purchase the product. olay got this one right!
Pros:tightens pores, give a luminous appearance to the skin, non-greasy Cons:a bit pricey for a drug store product.
So I decided that I needed to add SPF to my routine but needed a moisturiser that would not make an oil slick of my already oily skin. A friend reccommended this to me and i must say, WOW! It contains SPF 15 and is really light. What i love about it is that it contains light reflectors that nake your skin glow!!! The only thing i dislike about it is the smell...almost like you can smell the sunblock in there...other than that i have no qualms!
I just got this at walmart it was on clearance with the face wash. It reminds of the warming one Biore used to have. So far, i don't see any breakouts with it, and it does leave my skin soft, but i don't think it really "does" anything for my skin :(
Pros:smells good, feels nice Cons:doesn't seem to "do" anything for my skin
OMG OMG, this is like the coolest product i have tried! i love using this in the shower, but regardless if your in the shower or not. it heats up to the most comfortable warmth on your face, as well it smells sooo yummy! you have to try it , plus you get a mild exfoliation out of it too, while leaving your skin sooo very soft!
This has been my daily moisturizer of choice for the past 5 years and it works great for protecting me from the sun, does not clog pores or cause ance and is well priced.
This product was just awful! It didn't sink into the skin, and sat on top of my skin like a slick layer of flim. I didn't see any improvement in skin tone and this product made me break out all over my face. Very disappointed with this, and will not be purchasing again.
I LOVE THESE! I won't even look at any other face washes, because I'm so in love with these. These are the only things that leave me feeling really clean - I hate the feeling of makeup on my face overnight, and these really get everything off without making my already dryish skin drier. Try them!!
This is the best I've used. It has a nice clean smell to it, and it does what it's supposed to. It moisturizes, but not too much to where it makes you look greasy. After I put it on my complexion immediately looks renewed. I will continue to use this unless I find something even better.
Pros:Works great, leaves complexion fresh-looking, great packaging, UV protection Cons:
i got these a few weeks ago, on sale of course. im a sale catcher. but anyways. they're moisturizing. me i have semi dry skin, after a cleansing my face is tight around my cheek area, very uncomfortable. since i have been using these, my face is not tight anymore, havent had any breakouts, and its a great eye mu remover.
Pros:feels good, smells great, non drying, eye mu remover Cons:none
I normally don't care for pre-wetted cleansing cloths as I always use water to wash my face anyway. These would be handy for travel though and they are good at getting off the gunk like makeup and excess sebum from the skin's surface. Have a light, pleasant scent but I don't think these will replace my fave Dove ones anytime soon.
Pros:Nice, smooth, slightly abrasive texture for light exfoliation. Cons:Don't remove waterproof makeup, are wet, but may dry out due to the poor packaging.
Very expensive (about $28) for a drugstore brand, but I couldn't wait to try it. Foams like a mousse and a little goes a long way. Has a slightly sticky afterfeel on the skin and is supposed to penetrate 10 layers of skin. That remains to be seen. It does make my skin feel soft and smooth (with the stickiness), but whether it will lighten my melasma is anybody's guess.
I have been useing regular olay facial lotion for years. I was looking for a higher spf. This is it. Feels alittle different, I can tell the sunscreen is in it, but I like it alot. I have been wearing this for over a month and love it so much a got a 2nd bottle for back up.
