Gently removes eye makeup, including waterproof mascara, without tugging or pulling the delicate skin in the eye area. Formula does not leave skin feeling dry.
Sometimes are eyelashes fall out - this could be the result of eyelash mites. Don't get too disgusted, everyone has them. BUT Mary Kay's Eye Makeup Remover KILLS the bugs in your lashes! That's motivation enough to buy!
Pros:Gentle, Oil-Free, Removes Eye Makeup - EVEN WATERPROOF MASCARA! Plus No Tugging or Pulling on Skin around the eye, AND it Kills Eyelash bugs that cause your lashes to fall out. Cons:Not Sold in Stores. But I'm a Consultant - www.marykay.com/chelsea.hedrick
Has the most disgusting smell ever... Like nailpolish remover. It says there is no reason to rinse, but honestly, I thought there might have been some sort of gas leak or chemical leak going on in the house, but it was coming from my face!!!!
First off, these wipes acts the same as any other makeup remover wipes. It's still a bit difficult to remove mascara with them and all your makeup is not completely off - that's why toners where invented!
But, the difference between these wipes and other brands (over even baby wipes) is the soft feeling it gives you afterwards. I'm addicted to it. It leaves you with this soft, silky, smooth feeling - never dry!
Pros:Gets the general makeup off and leaves a great feeling behind. No drying effect. Cons:Doesn't remove all makeup (but that goes for every makeup wipe removers) and it is a bit pricey ($15-20 is more reasonable for bulks).
it comes in two versions : normal to combo skins, and normal to dry skins. 250ml or 500 ml bottle. i have tried both, and they're great.
this makeup remover is just water (thermal water^^). it is made for sensitive skins, and you can use it for your eyes too. it's my HG makeup remover.
what i love about it is because it's basically water, it doesn't make your face oily as a milky version could. it also cleans your skin a bit.
the 500ml is less pricey than the smaller version, and lasts long.
last but not least : it is the only makeup remover i can safely use on my eyes without them itching, and they're pretty sensitive. this alone motivates me to cough some euros on it.
does a good job on waterproof makeup too, though i prefer to use a separate remover
i really love it. it's a gel and spreads easily on the skin, so you don't need much product each time. it is a cleanser as well as a makeup remover, and i love the refreshing effect the gel texture gives to your face. your skin really seems to breathe.
it is very gentle, even for the eyes. originally made for fine, sensitive and reactive skins, i think it can be used by all skintypes. i even noticed i had considerably less rosy cheeks since i've been using it.
i'm not sure the gel texture is ideal to remove eye makeup, maybe i'll buy one more watery specifically for the eye area, but it's only a personal preference.
I love this product! takes off my eye makeup very well (one to two swipes - that's all I need), and I don't need to use a lot either.
Pros:easy to find in stores, don't need a lot of product to take off eye MU Cons:my lids feel a little greasy after I use it, but I wash my face afterwards so it's not that bad.
First off, let me say for the record that this product works beautifully to remove makeup.
However, the texture of the cloth is rough and hurts, particularly around the eye area. I have used store-brand cloths for a fraction of the price that are much softer than these wipes.
In addition, the opening for the towelettes to come through is very small, and the wipes often come out in multiples, meaning you cannot shove the extra wipes back into the package. If you do, the little resealable tab won't lay flat and you run the risk of drying out several layers of wipes.
Based on those factors, I won't purchase this product again UNLESS it is repackaged and redesigned. Otherwise, they have the formula right for a great product.
Pros:Removes makeup easily Cons:Rough cloths; difficult to dispense one at a time; hard to put unused wipes back in package due to opening; resealable strip is too small.
Unlike Estee Lauder Take It Away, this makeup remover is not for use in the eye area. It is very good for the rest of the face since it is not scented like Take It Away. Leaves skin soft. I follow this with my regular cleanser, toner, treatments, etc. Since this doesn't work on eye makeup, I use Estee Lauder Take It Away or the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm for eyes.
Pros:removes tough makeup prior to cleansing, leaves skin soft, unscented Cons:can't be used in eye area
I use this as an eye makeup remover. It can be used all over the entire face but it's scented so I prefer not to use it all over. It's great at removing eye makeup and I like the fact that I can use it right in the shower since you don't need a cotton pad to use it. You can just use your fingers to massage it over the eye area and lashes and rinse it with warm water.
Pros:easily removes all eye makeup, can be used in shower Cons:scented
I absolutely love Pond's Cold Cream: It not only removes makeup and makes skin feel silky soft, but it's great for preventing pealing of sunburns. After two weeks in TX (being from MD, I'm not quite used to direct sunlight), I had a pretty bad burn covering most of my left leg and some of my right. I was diligent with applying the Cold Cream a couple times a day, and the burn faded to a nice tan with the smallest amount of peeling around the edges. Works well to soothe any type of burn, actually. I've found it even takes down most of the bumps caused by shaving my legs. Couldn't be happier with this product, especially for the price ^_^
Pros:Removes makeup quickly and easily; heals burns, sunburn, and razor burn Cons:Takes some effort & care to remove completely
This is the best drugstore brand eye makeup remover I have found so far! It easily removes my eyeliner, eyeshadow, and Urban Decay Primer Potion. It leaves no greasy residue, unlike several other products I've tried! My only complaint is that it doesn't remove waterproof mascara as easily as it says, you still have to do some scrubbing or pulling on the lashes if you really want all of the mascara off. But I have yet to find a drugstore eye makeup remover that does remove waterproof mascara easily!
I think this was about $5 at Wal-Mart.
Pros:No greasy residue; easily removes eyeshadow, eyeliner, and primer Cons:Does not remove waterproof mascara very well
This is the best makeup remover I have used! It is gentle enough to use as an eye makeup remover as well for your entire face! It leaves my skin feeling very soft.
Pros:creamy texture, gentle enough for eyes Cons:price
I love this makeup remover. It melts and removes my makeup very easily. It does not feel oily or too dry after you wipe it off. The price is affordable, not dirth cheap, but below department store makeup remover price that is for sure. It said that it could remove waterproof makeup, but don't use it to remove your eye makeup though, it will get into your eyes and make your eye blurry. Make sure you use eye makeup remover to remove your eye makeup first, then use this on the rest of your face. Don't rinse it off, wipe it off. It is a little bit messy but easy to wipe off the cream though.
PS: I wish the 9.5oz one only cost $5.00, then I would give it all the way five stars...hahaha...
Pros:Removes makeup easily, won't make your face break out. drugstore price. Cons:Takes a lot of paper towls to wipe it off.
Overall, this is a solid buy. I am hard core addicted to the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oils, but I saw that at a CCO and decided to give it a shot and see how if compares. In any case, it sold for 30-40% off of retail pricing, so I knew it wouldn't be a big loss if I didn't like it.
It works just like Shu's originial formula, but doesn't have the same scent. I like that MAC's formula doesn't have mineral oil in it, but I still need the different formulas that Shu offers, plus I prefer the scent.
A big negative about this is the bottle. While I love how hygenic the pump bottle is, the darn this leaks and leaks and leaks under the pump. It just pools out a little every time I depress the pump.
I would definitely like this more if it was less messy.
There are so many great things about this product that I don't know where to begin.
To start with, these are my HG face wipes. The cloth is soft and the formula is moisturizing, so this does not sting, chafe, dry out, or irritate my skin.
The packaging is perfect. I've never had these leak in my purse or dry out. Its sturdy and can take a beating for what is basically a plastic bag with a dispenser at the top.
This product comes in two sizes. I keep the bulk ones at home. (One in the fridge to make them super refreshing, one in the bathroom for taking off make-up, cleaning up mistakes, and wipeing off brush in between colors, and one in my nightstand to remove make-up when I'm too tired or tipsy to go wash my face.)
Me: NC43, GGG, Green Eyes, Jet Black Straight Hair, Combination/Sensitive Skin
I ♥ these wipes. They remove all of my make up, including my mascara, and leave my face feeling so clean. They have a clean scent to them and they are so easy to use. I keep them by me bed and use them during those days when I have had too many cocktails or I am just too dang tired to get up and wash off my make up. They are gentle enough for my dry skin.
I think the makers of SwabPlus are so on the money with this concept. They are cotton tip swabs that are filled with a solution. When you want to use it you snap the colored ring tip and the liquid flows to the other end of the cotton tip. You use this saturated cotton tip to remove your makeup. First of all you always get a fresh dose, it is very portable and it's sanitary. The Eye Makeup Remover swabs contain 72 swabs for about $4.19. I don't use this as my regular makeup remover it is more of a touch up product. I love it to fix a makuep mistake like mascara that ends up in the wrong place on your face, a smudge, to thick eyeliner etc. I keep some in my makeup case at home and also a few in my purse to fix smudges etc. during the day. The days of carrying makeup remover sheets are over for me. The sheets often dry in the packaging if kept to long and it's difficult to remove precise small mistakes. I love this product and I highly recommend.
Pros:price, portability, sanitary, convenient, contains aloe vera and vitamin E, Cons:NONE
