The capsules come in a little glass pot that contains 28 of them. By the 5th night I can start seeing a difference. My face does seem more radiant and younger looking in 28 days. I am quite pleased with the results. It really glides effortlessly over my skin. I was pleased that it wasn't greasy but it wasn't moisturizing enough as well. I usually have to apply a moisturizer over it. The capsules were too small and there never seem to be enough product to go over my entire face and neck (and I actually have a small face too.) I took a breather after finishing my first pot - for a one-month supply seemed pretty steep. After a couple of weeks, my skin is starting to look dull again. ~~ I must have my radiance back!
Pros:radiant, younger looking skin, anti-oxidant Cons:pricey, small capsules with too little product
Although this product is okay, I hate the packaging. It just seems so unsanitary to be swabbing a wand all over your face and/or blemishes and then to stick it back into the tube. So whenever I used this, I just wipe off the extra product thats on the plastic part of the wand and apply with my fingers. It's not very good for pimples, which is what it's intended for, but it does help heal little irritations or wounds (from like plucking accidents. Dang I need to find some better tweezers).
I'd probably buy this stuff just for that purpose, but as far as clearing acne, look elsewhere.
Pros:heals irritations and small cuts Cons:kinda stings, horrible packaging
Ew! I hated using this scrub because it was really harsh and sharp. It's one of the few Body Shop skin care items that I've hated. It really dried my skin out even after I used a good moisturizer. Check out Oil of Olay's thermal skin polisher if you're looking for a good exfoliator that won't dry you out!
Pros:well if you want your face ripped off, I guess this is for you. Cons:everything
This mask is okay I guess. It has a nice smell and I like the way it feels going on. I don't use it often because it's pretty drying, but I keep it around because it's fun to use on the weekends, especially after a night of drinking. I feel like it draws the impurities out. I'd probably buy it again for that reason even if it's not my absolute favorite product ever.
This is such a creamy product that I thought it would be too heavy for my skin, but the natural oils in it allow it to absorb quickly without making your face feel greasy or break out. I love using this, especially after acne treatments. Definitely liking the fact that it comes in a little tub with a screw off top, instead of those pump packages. I hate pumps.
Pros:moisturizing, won't clog pores, thumbs up on packaging Cons:kinda pricey
This is the best toner I've found for my sensitive and combination skin. Practically all it has in it is water, aloe gel, and glycerin. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for an inexpensive, effective toner. I can see it working for any skin type because its so gentle. I used to not think using toner was a big deal, but ever since I started using this stuff I'm hooked. It gets off so much extra dirt even after I wash my face thoroughly. Oh and it lasts FOREVER.
I do like this tea tree oil quite a bit. Since it is not 100%, it can irritate your skin less than regular 100% tea tree oil can. I personally never had a problem, so it wasn't a huge factor to me. I use tea tree oil in my body lotions, as well as my facial moisturizer to combat dryness as well as acne because of the anti-bacterial properties. I have nothing but good to say about TTO, but I think after trying different kinds, I am more partial to the 100% TTO, rather than this which is only 15%.
This is a tool that looks like a pen but one end has a small loop and the other end has a bigger loop.
This product makes pimple squeezing easy.
Once your pimple has formed a whitehead, soften the pimple with a cloth dampened with warm water and apply gentle pressure, next use the smaller loop end and place it over the pimple and gently press down and the pimple should burst. After I've done this, I take a clean cotton bud and dip it in some witch hazel and wipe the area.
In my opinion, it's much safer then using your fingers.
I also clean my tool with witch hazel before and after use.
I would only buy another one if my one broke.
Pros:Safer then using fingers Cons:A small travel case would be handy for when you travel, but this isn't a big deal.
it's actually a blend of tea tree essential oil (15%) and alcohol, so it's safe to be put directly on the skin. it's really effective on my t zone, but it's also really drying your skin. i wouldn't recommend a daily use. there's also too much alcohol for my liking, and it's expensive for the quantity you get. for the smell, it's a personal preference. i don't like it much but it's not that bad.
the bottle has a security mecanism so you're sure small children won't open it accidently.
it's good for EO beginners, but i advise you to buy a small bottle of tea tree EO and make your own blend instead.
Pros:works great for oily skins and pimples, good packaging
Cons:drying, expensive
This has a nice and fresh smell. I put it on cleansed skin and
remove it after about 10 minutes. It stung me a little but nothing
serious. This is good to use about once a week.
Finally! An answer to my oily skin!!! I found this while I was browsing online and called my local cosmetics shop to find out if they had it and they did. I'm accustomed to my skin being oily 2 hrs after I wash and moisturize..this lasted for 4 hrs...it also contains Tea Tree oil which helps to clear my skin up. I LOVE this product...i just wish it came in a bigger size
Pros:controls oil and acne Cons:too small...
I listed the price as 10US...it's sold for $40. where I Live (EC)
I tried this because I love so many of Body shops products (the body butter, the body wash and some shampoos and fragrance, even some makeup (GREAT LIP LINERS!) and skin care items) that I thought this would work. Unfortunately, it didn't do anything for my blemishes, felt kind of slick on my skin and the smell was real medicinal. I was told to try the tea tree soap for my blemishes but after my experience with this I didn't want to try anymore of their tea tree line. I thought for what it was, the size and the fact that it didn't really work, it was overpriced. I still love body shop products but this one isn't on my list of "will use again" products. I will stick with my proactiv and dab it on my zits knowing they will be gone in a day.
Pros:Ilike the company that makes it and it is natural based . Cons:Doesn't work, smells funny, and I didn't like the feel of the product. Useless for it's purpose.
I'm not really fan of blemish pads in general because it reminds me of when I used to use those harsh chemical pads that burned my skin. However the Tea Tree Oil Blemish Pads are pretty gentle, didn't irritate my skin, and it prevented breakouts. I think it's perfect for getting makeup residue off your skin after washing it--it leaves your skin refreshed and clean. Plus you get 30 pads.
Pros:All natural so it shouldn't irritate your skin and should actually prevent blemishes. Cons:
This product definately made my skin softer and didn't dry it out or irritate it after use, but I'm just not sure it was worth the price. I personally think Queen Helene's Mint Julep Masque is just as good and you get more.
Pros:Softer skin that wasn't irritated. Cons:Not worth the price in my opinion.
I'm not too sure if this product actually works. I carry it around with me all the time and when ever I saw a zit forming or some redness I would put this on. I noticed that in those the hyper pigmentation wasn't so dark and I think my blemishes cleared up fast--but I'm not really too sure about that. So basically it only costs $6 and it might or might not work for some people. I read somewhere that the concentration isn't high enough to have any effect. I'll buy some more, pay more attention to my face, and I'll edit later.
Pros:I believed it helped with my skin's hyperpigmentation. Cons:While the packaging is convienient for carrying it around, the wand isn't hygenic at all and is probably spreading some bacteria.
this is a lotion for the face and the body that gives a subtle shimmer. it´s thicker than regular lotion and smells fresh. the shimmer is kinda sublte (no big glitter chunks, which is a good thing though), so it´s good for the use during the day too.
This is the only hand cream I have found that actually moisturizes without drying up two seconds later. It is a little pricey but worth it. It also has a nice, mild almond scent. They also have a tub version of this cream for "intense" hand moisturizing, which is great to use in the morning or before bed.
