This is the best scrub I have used for the price in a long time.  I have bought it several times.  It's a sugar scrub, so no salt to burn in cuts or anything like that.  I use it for my back alot, it feels soooo good like a million little fingers scrubbing my back for me, and the product smells wonderful too.  It's pretty abrasive, it's ment for a body scrub I think, and it does a good job at making skin soft without being oily.

This is the best store bought microdermabrasion product you can buy IMO. The scrubbing granules are really fine and therefore more effective than the bigger, soft ones you usually find in drugstore facial scrubs.

You can scrub gently if you have sensitive skin, or scrub harder (like I do) if your skin can tolerate it.

 

After prolonged this can refine your skintone and help with hyperpigmentation. IMO that´s not gonna happen with a very gentle application though. 

great product! very good pricing! love the packaging! it sweeps away dead skin cells its like a microdermabrasion but less sensitive and it contains Tea Tree Oil as well! this is my new HG scrub! great brand! 

Dr.Brandts microdermabrasion is one of the best scrubs ive ever bought!! it is literally an in-home microdermabrasion, although it is very rough on the skin and should not be used often,it helps with acne scars and skin discoloration and also leaves the skin silky smooth! 

I love this cleanser!  It makes my skin feel so very smooth after rinsing it off.  It does not make my skin dry or tight, but gently scrubs all flakiness off without leaving it irritated.  Love the natural lemongrass scent too!  Just take a small dab out of the jar and place in your palm.  Add a few drops of warm water and start working onto your face with circular motion and feel it warm as you do.  Rinse with warm water and feel how smooth your face is!

I have oily skin but i do not get breakouts. My skin is extremely resilient and does not get irritated easily. However, i have semi-large pore and im prone to clogged pores aroung my nose and on my chin. I use this every other day and it clears away the debris and leaves my skin so smooth. I have no complaints about this. The grain size is perfect and i love the smell. I hope this never changes.

instead of using my regular st ives scrub, i tried regular sugar mixed with my cleanser it works great in the winter when i get dry skin around my nose and mouth

You get two things out of this - a tube of the cream which has the microdermabration stuff and the other one is the serum which claims to hydrate your skin.

 

I've tried this for about 20 days and did not see anything magical about it.

 

You have to rub your face with the dermaabrasion cream, rinse then put the serum after.

 

My skin was softer but that's about it - I'd rather use the Neutrogea ones which is cheaper.

ive been using st ives products for a long time and this scrub is so good i have no reason to change it. you can feels the littles beads just scrubbing away all that dirt and its not too harsh and doesnt leave your skin too dry after which is great. the gentle one is also good too as its beads are not hard. its definatley worth trying out it leaves your face feeling fresh and clean. and it smells nice too

I received a bottle of this while I was in training class and I love how this isn't harsh on my skin at all. This product smells amazing as well.

I love this scrub! It has the same herbally smell as the other cleansers from the line, which isnt great but it isnt bad either. I feel it really helps exfoliate and my face feels great after using with the cucumber toner. I use it every other day and it works great and I will be a long term customer of this product. I cant remember the price but it was not much more than 10 dollars, maybe less.

 

 

My face skin used to be dry and less attractive. I've applied so many skin care products but didn't get any desired result and got frustrated. I like using this stuff, but I guess technically it doesn't do much.  I think that the little scrubbing pieces might be too big and rough for a lot of people's skin.  It makes my face feel nice and clean but it's pretty abrasive.  I think it would be good for your body instead. Like to use before shaving or something.

I read some other sites and some of the feedback was not that great but then I would always find this product sold out.  This did not make sense to me, so I went ahead and purchased it.  I could have pruchased Susan Lucci's line but because I live in Canada, it is a hassele to pay extra taxes and duty fees.

I really loved the Accelarated Formula Microdermabrasion Cream.  My biggest fear is that it would leave a residue behind on my skin and I have a bad problem with acne.  I have tried Neutrogena and diliked the waxy feel it left on my skin.  With this DermaNew formula, it did leave a light moisterizing feel on my skin but when I rinsed quickly with Cetaphil for oily skin, it was washed off easily.  Back to Neutrogena, it did not wash off as easily.

The tool itself does not rotate but vibrates.  It comes in two speed but I personally prefer the faster speed.  I have yet to try this on my body.  I only used it on my face.  It is somewhat harsh scrub but what is to be expected for this type of treatment.  Five use of DermaNew is equal to one professional micro.  To me, it almost felt that one use of DermaNew equal to one professin micro.

 

You may find this to be a Con, depending on how dedicated you are with your skincare on face and body.  This is to be used on dry, clean skin.  So you would have to take a shower, dry off, then use DermaNew.  My plan was to shower with the shower gel scrub, rinse, dry off, then go back into the shower and use the DermaNew scub.  I figured it can't take that long because the shower would be quick, drying your skin can't take that long (only a second) then you start with the scrub.  I personally would prefer to rinse it off with my shower gel to ensure that there is no residue.

 

In other web-sites, I have read that some users would not repurchase because they found their acne worsen.  I have done some further research and found that it may not be a good idea to use DermaNew when you are going through heavy break outs, like during your PMS or period.  Once your skin has settled, you go back to DermaNew.

DermaNew cannot treat acne.  Acne is deep rooted and I think the best way to treat it is by seeing your Doctor.

 

I have not tried the Polishing Body Wash yet but I have a feeling that I would not purchase the refill.  I thinking of using another brand instead because it would be cheaper.

 

For some reason I decided to check this out even though I don't have sensitive skin. I suppose this could be good for someone with sensitive skin, but for me it wasn't that effective. I would use the normal Apricot scrub to help combat the dry, flaky, skin I sometimes get around my nose. The regular scrub works great for it but this doesn't work much at all. I will be going back to their regular Apricot Scrub.

This stuff is terrible for your skin!  the apricot shells are sharp and jagged and cause micro tears in your skin.  you can't see them but they cause tiny little cuts all over your face, which leads to pollution and bacteria to get into your skin which rapidly ages your skin!  stop using it!

you need to find a scrub with spherical particles that won't tear your skin!
